Ok, the patch is out, and chances are high some of the glitches which made this game so unfair when it was pre patch, are out too. But the answer is “NO”. I will show you now a couple of youtube videos which were taken after the patch and show some old glitches that are still working after the patch and some new glitches the patch enabled. I try to show videos that have no tutorial inside because I don’t want to encourage people to use this glitches. If you want to change something about this, sign in to this petition

Yes, glitching has gotten worse by this patch, and by the time I’m done writing this comment, I have just finished 4 more glitches, that will be released in the coming days. Decoye Gheist- you should really do a segment on the glitchers point of view on this game. Everything is always epic needs to do this and do that, and how glitchers are looked down upon. You should really see our side of the story and how much we love this game too. and Glitching is really a sport to us

I agree with Jedi. Seriously, you do not take into consideration the Glitcher’s perspective at all. Yes, glitching in Ranked Matches is not justifiable by any means. I encounter many people who ask me to teach them glitches in order to counter the people exploiting the glitches in the first place, I always turn them away. Glitching is an art, sure, we Glitchers have unearthed the petty glitches that worm themselves into Ranked Matches, but we have also created some of the most amazing and complex glitches you have ever seen. The majority of these Glitches are too complex to perform in serious matches. We only Glitch in Player Matches and we Glitch together, we do not condone the use of any glitch in Ranked Matches. The “glitchers” who exploit the simple ones in Ranked Matches in order to gain an advantage deserve any negative feedback or complaints filed against them. In essence, please don’t confuse the Glitchers who hold Glitching as an art form and the glitchers who abuse our glitches to their advantage. Glitching is an art, meant to be skillfully crafted, not an weapon to be wielded against other players. Glitching is our artform and Gears of War is our medium.

I THINK GLITCHING IS AWESOME AND THE ONLY PEOPL WHO GET MAD AND HATE GLITCHING IS THE PEOPLE WHO DON NO HOW TO DO IT. yo tis batman smoke glitching is like everything else TO MUCH OF A GOOD THING IS BAD what if everyone glitched there would only be death the opposite reason we play. I recomend keep it to minimum and there are no problems.

glitches r 1 of the great things about gears of war appart from shooting peoples heads off with one of those longshots i dont find glitching a problem at all for example if someone is running after u with a chainsaw glitch u shoud be good enough to stop it anyway i do believe in fair play so i dont glitch in ranked there for no harm done.

I know a few glitches they are as follows
#1 Chainsaw exploding run
to perform this glitch take cover push forward with left stick and press A very quickly hold B Your controller should vibrate telling you have done it take note you can let go of A but not B
#2 remote chainsaw
to perform this glitch shoot your lancer (aussault rifle) get an active reload but hold B RT and RB to reload hold it for a few seconds then wile still holding those buttons switch gun your gun should shoot once take note can be done with anything
#3 weapon slide
to perform this glitch walk over any weapon and hold X very quickly hold LB and move in any direction u should then be sliding
note all of the above glitches can not be performed by host YET

I am dumber for having read most of the comments here (II DYLAN II definitely excepted.) Learn to type, guys. This isn’t a hot game of WoW where you have to type as fast as possible.
That said, Dylan, if you’re really that into glitching as you explained it, more power to you, and gracias for keeping it to player match and with “your own kind,” if you will. Do me a favor, though, and pass along your philosophy to all the assholes out there (Mufasa) who think a weapons slide on a ranked match is cool.

Im a gamer who just plays the game as it is and enjoys it as is. With Epic trying in improve our gaming experirnce with updates and such, glitchers are just exploiting the damn game for them selves. i understand some one coming across a glitch accidently while scrambling in a fierce fight. but comon calling it an art or sport, how sad are you that u go about finding ways to cheat the game. just play the game as it is.

I agree that the glitches shouldnt be used in ranked matches but, I also think that if your gonna glitch thats fine just do it in a player match that one of your friends is hosting and tell people whats going on if they join or better yet do it in a private match that way, no one gets glitched unless they are invited and everyone has fun with it. And some people dont even want to learn glitches although some of them are fun they just want to play the game glitch free the way it was meant to be.

Everyone should realy stop hating all of the glitching. If you just try it yourself, you will relize that it is fun. When I first saw someone glinch I was amazed and mad at the same time. I booted that person because I was mad but the real reason is because I din’t know how to do it. Once you start doing it you notice that it is a realy fun thing to do. As long as no one glinches in a ranked match, everyone should stop sending complains and bad reviws. Just learn the glinch and try it yourself. Now that I know almost every glinch in the book, I don’t get mad at anyone who glinches. If you want to learn a glinch just find me and ask me and most of all… STOP HATING!

i agree with both perspectives glitching can be an art and good on those people who find out what they can do when they producers think there are ‘no bugs left in the game’ but on the other hand i dont think it is fair for players to use glitches to gain an advantage especially in ranked matches, but i do think all glitchers who are the artists should let everyone know they are performing art in the player matches by having something in their gamertag like this (g) as this would let people know that ‘i am a glitvhing artist, this is my canvas’ this way there will be no uproar about ‘you dirty glitching b*****d’.
